Message From JIDDU KRISHNAMURTI

Fear can be ended totally

The speaker is saying that fear can be totally ended. Don’t say, “It is for the illumined one” and all that nonsense. You can end it if you put your brain, your heart into it—completely, not partially. And then you will see for yourself what immense beauty there is in it; a sense of utter freedom—not freedom of a country or of some government, but the sense of the enormity of freedom, the greatness of freedom. Will you do it—today, now? From today, seeing the cause of fear, end it. As long as there is fear—biologically, physically, psychologically—it destroys us. So, if one may ask, after listening to this fact, not theory, what are you going to do? Time is the factor of fear and thought; so if you don’t change now, you won’t ever change. It is constant postponement.

Sacred Moments
There are moments in most days when we may feel overwhelmed, distracted, out of balance.

These are often the most precious times, for if we want to cultivate a relationship with our Divine Self, it is in these moments that we have the opportunity to truly experience the feeling of transformation.

If you can, in these moments just stop, take a breath and connect with your higher self. Say a prayer or repeat a mantra you have chosen for yourself -- almost instantly you will feel transformation happening in your thoughts and even your actions.

Practicing this habit of seeking sacred moments, even during the difficult parts of a day, strengthens our to connection to the Divine within us, and leads towards transformation and enlightenment.
Finding Hidden Treasures in the Sacred Moments

  • Next time you are walking from your office or the store to your car, look up at the sky - take a deep breath and say THANK YOU -- for something. Even if you say thank you for the sky, it will bridge the gap between you and the Sacred.

  • Each evening, before you sleep, offer gratitude for something in your day.

  • Even if you spend just five minutes per day being thoughtful about who you are, you will begin to feel a stronger connection with your highest goals and aspirations. If you notice that your day to day life is not in alignment with your True Self, perhaps it is time to make a plan to change it.
Gratitude

I believe gratitude is like a currency for Grace. The more we show gratitude, the more we feel Divine Grace working in our lives.

Many wise men and women have extolled the virtues of gratitude. Below are some of their thoughts.
___________

If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, "thank you," that would suffice.
                                    -- Meister Eckhart

To educate yourself for the feeling of gratitude means to take nothing for granted, but to always seek out and value the kind that will stand behind the action. Nothing that is done for you is a matter of course. Everything originates in a will for the good, which is directed at you. Train yourself never to put off the word or action for the expression of gratitude.
                                -- Albert Schweitzer

Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful.
                                                -- Buddha

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity.... It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.
                                   -- Melodie Beattie

Let us be grateful to people who make us happy--they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.
                                      -- Marcel Proust
Inspiration -
and the space to find it.

Allow yourself some time after your meditation. While you are in this quiet state, look around you at your immediate space and ask yourself this:

- How does it make me feel?

- What parts of of this space are no
  longer working?

- Which items have I chosen to
  place with deliberation and
thought, and which items   "ended up" there?

When you have answered these questions, notice how you feel -- overwhelmed or inspired?

The answer to this question begins your journey. Are you going to take charge or are you going to give up?

If you feel like giving up - DON'T!!

This moment is a SACRED MOMENT - go quietly within, take a few deep breaths and ask the universe to guide you.

Listen and take notes. The little whispers of inspiration are the keys to open the door to your new life.
